This 21st century education encourages learners to have critical thinking skills and problem solving, communication, creativity and innovation, and the collaborative skills contained in the 2013 curriculum learning process. At the learning Sir In the classroom, not everything is disciple oriented. Learning resources center on the teacher's explanation, thus making learners less of the opportunity to practice or figure out the needed knowledge for themselves. Disciple-centered learning is expected to make disciples actively follow learning, especially Christian religious learning. Through the problem based learning model can be one of the efforts the disciple can build his or her knowledge through problem solving in real life so that it can in the future overcome problems based on the truth of the Lord's word.
The purpose of this study is to explain how learners can think critically in problem solving, a way that with a problem-based learning model can increase learners' activation. The research method used is the study of literature with the following results: in theory and previous research, a minimum problem based learning model can increase activation of learners in learning Sir.
