This research was made with a background about the differences in canonity and differences in the interpretation of the book of Esther to make some different opinions. This is due to the absence of God's name or something that shows about worship, the Temple, and things that point to God. Also some people interpret this book allegorically although there is no evidence to suggest that this book should be interpreted as such, so that the Word of God is not accepted and interpreted as it should. then, the discovery of adolescents who experienced hopeless both in general in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, also at the research site, Gereja Babtis Indonesia Nyutran, Yogyakarta. So the principles about God's providence according to the book of Esther can be applied here, using the case study method.
This research aims to explain the principles of preservation according to the book of Esther; explain important points about adolescents who experience hopeless; explains the application of the principles of God's providence according to the book of Esther in helping adolescents who experience hopeless; and shows the results of a case study at Gereja Babtis Indonesia Nyutran, Yogyakarta.
Finally, through this case study research, it can be concluded that the principles of God's providence according to the book of Esther in helping adolescents who experience hopeless, it can be applied to adolescents who experience hopeless at Gereja Babtis Indonesia Nyutran, Yogyakarta. These principles are: God can control anyone to help the counselee; God allows problems to come to the counselee; God guides the counselee to make decisions; God gives strength to the counselee when he feels worse; God gives justice to the counselee; and God restores and gives joy to the counselee.
After applying these principles to those who are in hopeless, they can show positive effects by being able to feel God's power behind the problem, so they can change the way they look and the wrong actions towards the problem.
